La circolazione delle opere d’arte tra la legge n. 124/2017 e il DDL Senato n. 762: riforme, prassi e prospettive

The article summarizes the reform regarding international circulation referred to law no. 124 of 2017, which expanded the so-called regime declaration to two new categories of artwork, previously subjected to the authorization regime, with a focus on the practical outcomes of the reform in the period 2020-2022 (in terms of increase in the number of declarations compared to free circulation certificates). Senate bill 762 on international circulation, which introduces numerous regulatory simplifications, is also briefly analysed. Finally, the numerous administrative simplification initiatives undertaken more recently by the General Management are exposed.
