Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti e l’esperienza della rivista «Criterio»
Andrea Becherucci
The essay reconstructs the experience of the magazine «Criterio», founded in 1956 by Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti, Carlo Antoni, Leo Valiani, and Bruno Visentini. It was an attempt, through a cultural periodical, to foster a political convergence between the secular and leftist forces in order to contain the dominance of the DC party. The publication ended in 1958, on the eve of the creation of the centre-left government that inaugurated a new phase of Italian political life.
